Little League International had changed its residency requirements in 2014, and more children are eligible to play in Lincroft Little League this season. The league age is the age a player has attained as of a specific date, for the purpose of placing the player in a particular division.
Here is a link to the residency and school attendance eligibility requirements (PDF): new rules gives a family the option to either play in its normal home Little League or the Little League in which one of its children's schools are located. League age is determined by Little League International. Most of the equipment minus a glove, baseball cleats and a cup are provided by the league.
Registration always takes place online in the October thru December timeframe.Notification for registration occurs through direct mail (if you've been registered in the past three years), through handouts in the local schools, via email notification and text message alert (if you registered to receive text messages the previous year). In addition, registration information is posted on our website. After 1/15, a late fee is assessed for each child age 12 and under. There is a limit to the number of players that each division can accommodate; therefore the league operates on a first come, first served basis.
